Contact me at: aidan@rainbowrickshaw.com Print and fill out the PDF form here and give it to the Santa Cruz Police Department, 155 Center St., between 9 – 4 pm, Monday – Thursday. Request that it be brought to the attention of Anna Concepcion. Obtaining your pedicab permit can take up to a month. Please be patient.

 

Also bring : 2 passport photos (1″x 1″), which you can get done at the post office ($15), Bay Photo lab ($16), or the photobooth at the Boardwalk, which is the least expensive. A photocopy of your Driver’s License. A DMV printout of your driving record, available for $2 at: http://www.dmv.ca.gov/online/dr/welcome.htm

 

The police department will prepare your live scan paperwork and let you know when it is ready to be picked up. Take the “Request for Live Scan Service” to the UPS store by Safeway on Mission Street. This costs about $60. Take the form back to the Police Station and turn it in to reception. Then wait. (This may take a day or two, or up to a couple of weeks.) Please contact me when you turn in your paperwork, or if you have any problems.
